Chris Wristen

I’m a writer, outdoor adventurer, trail- and ultrarunner, and Kansas City native living outside of Boston. My adventures have taken me to four continents, including the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and the Everest region of Nepal, and my legs have taken me as far as 100 miles at a single trail race. In addition to 12 years as a newspaper sportswriter in Kansas, my writing has appeared in UltraRunning Magazine and TrailRunner Magazine.
